Traveling to Florida

Last week, I traveled to Florida for a leadership team kickoff for the company I work for. It was a really great trip, seeing so many nice people that I work with but in different states and even countries! We get to see each other once a year and that was this trip.

Though it was a jam packed week, full of wonderful training's, dinners and events, it was a blast! I am really grateful the people I work with and the company itself has been very good to me.

Below are some pictures of this trip. I wanted to make the most out of my time in Florida, and the one thing I REALLY wanted to do was go to a beach!

On our first day, we were taken on a boat ride. I couldn't tell you where, because I really had no idea where we were. The sunset was amazing and we even saw dolphins playing with each other in the ocean!

I couldn't resist taking a selfie with the amazing ocean view from my hotel room!

As I mentioned, I work with people from all over the world. One of the ladies in particular is from the UK and she brought in a box of Cadbury Heroes. I love Cadbury, but I'd never tried candy from another country and was excited to give it a whirl. I also filmed this, which is in my Florida Vlog Part 2 at the end of this post.

One of the nights, we did a recognition dinner. They had an amazing dinner planned and I snapped a picture of my salad. I only ate the oranges....oh and I did try a piece of spinach, which I did not enjoy at all. I had a funny story about ordering "Chicken Oscar" which is in the same vlog mentioned above.....

On the last day, after all of our meetings were finished, we had a little bit of downtime before evening. So we decided to hit the beach!

I even got brave and helped gather seashells. I am not a fan of actually touching things in the ocean, so it was a challenge for me.

I did take my swimming suit to the beach, but it was actually quite cold. Since oceans are not something I get to see too often, I just had to get in a little bit. It was so much fun!

I really enjoyed the view from my room. Here is the sun setting a little bit. It was so nice to have a little patio to go sit and gaze at the water. I could get used to this!

I really had an excellent time with great people. It's good to be back home with my hubby and puppies, but I can't wait to go back. Hopefully it will be warmer!

If you'd like to catch up on my vlogs from Florida, they are below!

  1. Hue, Viet nam is a special city with a lot of history in central Vietnam, there are lots of wonderful cultural events in this area and lots of great history. Visiting the Hue Citadel is a must do activity if you're in Hue, also having lunch at a monastery is a great way to experience the culture and enjoy a unique tasty meal.www.greenvisa.io
