Bobbi Brown Corrector

I have to say, I think I may have found the perfect match for my dark circles! I thought I had already when I purchased Tarte's CC Undereye Corrector, which is a BRILLIANT product!

However, when I was in NYC during the summer, I went to Sephora and they actually talked me out of purchasing Bobbi Brown's corrector, which I was extremely interested in. Instead, they sold me the Tarte CC corrector-which was fabulous! Although, I thought it was strange to talk me out of it, seeing as how there is only a $1 price difference.

I was actually very happy with the Tarte corrector, but in a more recent trip to my local Sephora, I was asking for an eye cream to try to ultimately get rid of dark circles, not just cover them. As they made me up a bunch of samples, they gave me the Bobbi Brown Corrector in Porcelin Bisque to try.

I fell in love....

Bobbi Brown Corrector $25

How I Use This Product:

  1. I start off by applying Benefit's It's Potent Eye Cream under and around my eyes. This stuff is great, but it does take a while to notice a difference. I'm only using a sample that I have (which has lasted forever).
  2. Sephora recommended using my fingers to apply, but the Bobbi Brown counter at my Nordstrom recommended a brush. I've been using my finger and dabbing towards the inner corner of my eye all the way to underneath my eye and blend.
  3. Then finally, I add a bit of concealer. Lately I've been using the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in NW15.
  4. If I need an extra bit of brightness, I will apply a small amount of MAC Prep + Prime Highlighter in Bright Forecast, though I have heard Radiant Rose is amazing!

My Thoughts:

I absolutely fell in love. It was the perfect match for my skin tone and it blended perfectly. I was able to make my tiny little sample last for several weeks. Personally, I have not noticed any creasing and I feel that it blends so well! It covers my dark areas really well and looks natural on me. It doesn't feel like I'm BRIGHT under my eyes after using this. It actually looked very natural on me. I go very lightly and build up and apply more, only if I feel I need it. I primarily focus in the inner corner of my eyes and right underneath my eyes. I finally decided that it was a must to purchase it and it was a very good decision!

All in all, I am super pleased with this product. This was my first Bobbi Brown purchase and I have absolutely fallen in love! I can tell this was my first of MANY future Bobbi Brown purchases! :)

This product is absolutely a must-have!!

  3. Bobbi Brown has an amazing shade range and their foundations are also great!
I currently use a l'oreal when needed, and usually just sweep a bit of foundation under my eyes and it seems fine! <3

  5. I agree. This is the greatest color corrector. I have two different ones Dark Bisque and Peach depending on what I need for the day. It always seems to do the job. Since it comes in so many shades, it better than palettes that only have one shade which does not fit all.
