Month in Review | September 2014

Today I am looking back on September and sharing with you some of the highlights (and even the low-lights) of my month.
  • My proudest moment of the month was when I realized that I reached over 100 followers on Bloglovin'! That is amazing! I can't believe the love and support I have received. You guys are so amazing! I am thinking about doing a drawing for a few of my favorite things, so be sure to stay tuned for that!
  • Rewinding a little bit, right before Labor Day, I got really sick! It was just a nasty cold that lasted about 2 weeks. I was so sick, I had to take time off of work while my boss was in town! It was a big bummer and very inconvenient, but what can you do? I later ended up sharing it with my poor mom, who is still suffering from it!
  • Jeff and I bought 2 new cars! We traded in our Juke and we were able to get a 2013 Camry and we were also able to fulfill one of Jeff's dreams...Yes, Jeff finally got the truck he's been gawking at for quite some time. I am so happy that he is happy!
  • I've done a lot of shopping this month! I did a Beauty Haul, Home Haul and soon to be uploaded Fashion Haul! Be sure to check out those videos!
  • As many of you know, I did THIS to my phone earlier this year! The iPhone 6 was announced and I've been super excited about it, but have heard mixed reviews. Is it worth it? I'm thinking about getting it this month, maybe...
  • Truth be told, I've been missing my Dad a lot. I've been thinking about him non-stop and it's breaking my heart. How do you deal with death? It's been almost 7.5 years....it hasn't gotten any easier. I just don't cry every day. It's been rough lately, but I know he's watching over our family.
  • Jeff's parents took us out to see Colbie Caillat when she came here. It was actually a lot of fun. She has a new song out that meant a lot to me and I'll probably be incorporating it into a blog post relating to self-esteem (or the lack thereof...).
  • My puppies turned 6 months old! They are the joy of our lives and we love them so much. They are so special and so sweet. They are the most lovable little pups ever! People wonder why we adopted 2 puppies and tell us how much work they are. We know! But we love them so much, they are family! They are worth it and we wouldn't have it any other way. These boys make my life complete and I love them with all my heart. Jeff has never been an animal lover, but he has told me that these boys are the first dogs he's ever loved. That warms my heart so much! My Dad loved dogs, he would've been absolutely smitten with these two!
Here are some pics of my pups growing up over the last 6 months!

Alfie: This is a pic of him when we signed the paperwork to adopt him! He has always been a happy little pup and he hasn't changed a bit!

Hammond: This is Hammond the day we signed the paperwork to adopt him. He was still pretty sick and Jeff was able to feed him. Look at how little!

Alfie: This was the next time we got to see him. Again, still too little for us to take home, but we had to come see him! I think this was the first time he had been outside!

Hammond: Oh, my little Ham'n'Cheese ball! This was the same day as above, first time outside. He still likes to play and steal toys! Love that little Ham!

Alfie: What a stud, need I say more?

Hammond: Man's best friend! Love that cheeky little grin!

How was your September? Any awesome and amazing things happen in your life lately?

    1. Thank you Carol! They are so much fun. We were told they are Heeler Mix. We were told they'd be about 20-25 pounds too, but they are already in the 40 pound range! Haha, but that is just more to love! :)
