Skin Care: My Dream Team (Part 2)

I hope you enjoyed my Part 1 of my Dream Team Skin Care Routine series. If you missed it, you can see it here!

Step 2: Exfoliate!

I've never really used an exfoliater in the past because I've been nervous of the fact that you can damage your skin if you are not careful. As I have been facing some really annoying blemishes lately, I thought it was time to look into something to really get in and help me out!

First Aid Beauty (FAB) Facial Radiance Polish

Part 2 of my skin care "Dream Team" is this amazing exfoliating polish from First Aid Beauty. It is beyond AMAZING! This is another travel sized item I picked up as the full size bottle is $24, I believe this small travel size was around $10. Like I mentioned in my previous post, I'm really liking the idea of trying out products before committing to them, so the mini's or travel section at the registers at Sephora have been spectacular!

This polish has natural exfoliants like shea but shell powder as well as willow bark extract which helps buff and polish your skin. It is extremely gentle and it leaves your skin feeling noticeably different, which I loved! Also, it is safe for those of you with sensitive skin The only negative part to me was the smell, it did not smell very great, but that is not enough to prevent me from using it as it is now a staple item in my skin care routine. This product does, exactly what it claims to, "exfoliate, brighten and purify." It's exactly what my skin needs!

How I Use This Product:
At night, after I use my Purity by Philosophy, I like to squeeze out 3 pea-sized drops onto my fingers (pinky, ring finger and middle finger-one drop on each finger) and take on drop and massage into my forehead, one drop onto my left cheek/left half of my face and one on to my right cheek/right half of my face. Don't forget around the nose too! I like to gently massage throughout my face for about a minute, then rinse.

It is astonishing to me how instantly refreshed and SMOOTH my entire face is. My skin doesn't feel dried out at all, it just feels so smooth. This has blown me away many times. It literally just makes my skin feel so healthy and fresh.

  1. I used scrubs to exfoliate in the past but for more than a year now, I have been using Olay Pro-X and I love it! I swear it made my skin much better.
