Skin Care: My Dream Team (Part 3)

I have to say, since I have started this new skin care routine, my acne and spots have cleared up (almost 100%) and my skin looks and feels so healthy! It's been looking so good, I haven't bothered using any foundation or BB cream! That's right, just sporting my natural skin and I'm not ashamed! :)

To be completely honest, throughout this process of getting my skin back on track, I have been trying to go as light as possible with makeup. Making sure to take it off properly each night, stick to a pretty good routine and not putting on a lot of makeup throughout the day. I pretty much have just been wearing the absolute minimum and my skin has appreciated the break.

If you haven't yet read my previous posts on this, please go check them out! I am featuring a skin care product in each post that has been crucial for me on my journey of getting my skin back!

Now that we have had a good deep cleaning of the skin, why not go for a daily facial?

Skin Care: My Dream Team (Part 3)

The Great Mystery

I have really been enjoying this daily facial. This is one my mom recommended and actually had an extra of and gave to me to try. I have absolutely loved it!

I only use this maybe once or twice a week as I don't feel like I need to more than that, even though you can choose to use this daily. I really love Philosophy and if I weren't exfoliating daily, I would probably just use my Purity cleanser with this daily facial. I just can't get over how great my skin is feeling.

It's a deep cleanser that helps purify your skin and has sea salt to gently exfoliate, leaving your skin feeling so smooth and healthy. It truly is amazing. This is an alternative product to my step 2, but I like to use this after step 2 on occasion.

Philosophy has been amazing in helping my skin feel its best. I am not sure, but this product may be discontinued! It would be a terribly sad thing if it is, because it truly is amazing. I have found some on Amazon, so you can purchase it here!

Next Up: Dealing with any impossible spots?? I've had a few, especially the ones that hurt! Those tender babies are the worst! I've got a nifty little product that I'm excited to share with you. It's worked wonders for me! Come check back soon! :)

What are some of your favorite skin care products? Any must-have, can't live without items? Please share them in the comments! :)

  1. I'm starting to like Philosophy based on your posts and i'm actually thinking of trying some of the products now. Looking forward to your next post. the impossible spots are the worst, especially the ones that hurt! I get them pretty much every month with the period ( for some reasons they like to surprise me together haha) so they don't last but it will be interesting to see what products you use for them.

  4. Ha, that's so weird that your mom recommended this to you because I'm like 95% sure I remember my mom using this exact cream regularly when I was a kid. The bottle looks so familiar. It must be a popular mom thing ;)
