Skin Care: My Dream Team (Part 4)

I hope you have enjoyed this series so far! In case you missed it, here are my previous posts in this series:

Now, on to the final step...

I am ending this skin care series with my new favorite skin care product! This is now one of my favorite skin care products, ever. I think we're going to be best friends (see my Instagram pic here...and you can follow me too)!

Origins Super Spot Remover - $15.50

On a recent trip to Dillard's with my mom, I insisted we swing by the Origins counter. I have never actually purchased anything from Origins because I know it can be a bit pricey. I have since learned that sometimes, you have to pay for great results!

I had heard about this spot treatment and it really had my wheels turning because I have been looking tirelessly for a treatment that actually worked. I got tired of purchasing so many drug store (and even some high end) products that just didn't do the job. So I decided to splurge on this wee-little bottle.

As you can see, this bottle is only 10 ml! Surely you are thinking that is a teeny-tiny bottle for over $15! Well, you are correct, however....you need such a small amount! Just the tiny-ist little drop will be PLENTY. (How many times can I say tiny throughout this post??)

I've been using this treatment daily (most days, I should say), sometimes in the morning AND at night-or sometimes just at night after I've removed my makeup. I've been using it for about 2 weeks now and I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

The first time I used it, I knew it was a keeper. I had a monster zit that appeared out of nowhere and invaded my chin. It was one of those super painful ones too! I dabbed a little of this spot remover on and I could instantly feel a cooling sensation to it. I woke up the next morning and the pain and tenderness from the zit was almost completely gone. After day 2, the pain was all the way gone! It took a few more days for the zit to completely disappear, but I truly believe this helped speed up the process. It did make my skin feel a little tighter than normal, but I really only noticed this if I put on too much. Seriously, the tiny-ist amount is all you need...not even a full drop.

I've had a few other spots here and there and I've used this as I get them. I would be lying if I told you they instantly went away, they definitely still ran their course. However, I do believe that it helped get rid of them faster, prevented tenderness and overall reduced the redness I had.

I could probably go on and on about this little baby all day, but I won't. I'll end this post now. I will say that I think it was worth every penny and I will surely be repurchasing this when I'm out...which won't be any time soon because it lasts sooooo long!

So, all in all, this is my "Dream Team!" These are the skin care products that have worked like a charm for me and have really helped heal my skin and get it back to being smooth, soft and healthy! I would highly recommend these products to anyone! They can be a bit on the pricey side, and maybe there are cheaper alternatives out there. I have personally tried each of these products and using them in conjunction with each other has made my skin feel the best it has in a very, very long time.

I hope you've enjoyed this little series and I hope it's helped inspired you to continue to take care of your skin properly. If you are like me and just haven't taken the time to do so, it's not too late! Just start making small changes and remember, makeup remove wipes are your best friend for those nights you are just too tired to fully cleanse your skin. Something is better than nothing! This is a lesson I'm glad I've learned now and I hope my experiences have helped you as well.

Please let me know if you liked this series and thanks again for all your support! :)

    1. Yes, the price is a little high for sure! I'm hoping there are alternatives out there, I just haven't found them yet. If you do decide to invest in this one, it should last you a long while! :)
