Review: Face Polish | First Aid Beauty VS Benefit Cosmetics

As you may have noticed lately, I've been testing out new skincare items in hopes to find the best solutions for my skin.

I had recently purchased the First Aid Beauty (FAB) Facial Radiance Polish in a smaller size to test out. I also purchased a Benefit Radiant Skincare Kit full of samples of skincare items to test out.

I am new to the exfoliating world, this is not something I've ever used in the past. Now that I have given it a decent go, I truly love it and have fully incorporated it into my new skincare routine, and I couldn't be happier about it.

I have tried out both items now and feel that I am able to provide an honest opinion on both products and tell you which one I prefer.

Lets talk about the products...

First Aid Beauty (FAB) Facial Radiance Polish

This is a polish that is supposed to leave your skin glowing by buffing the skin, leaving it bright and smooth. It makes for a great cleanser and leaves my skin feeling like new. I am truly impressed with this product. My skin felt amazing after the very first time I used it. I noticed such a difference. The only negative for me is the smell (it's not horrible, but its not lovely either), but because it is such an amazing product, I can get past that.

Benefit Cosmetics Refined Finish Facial Polish

This product pretty much does the same thing as the FAB polish. It's a great exfoliator and it's supposed to help reduce the appearance of pores, which is great! It also left my skin feeling clean, smooth and fresh! It even has a lovely smell to it! I truly love everything from Benefit!

The results are in....

Though both products are amazing and I have loved every product from FAB that I've tried and every product from Benefit that I've tried, the winner for me in this case is the First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Polish!

Overall, I just felt FAB's was less gritty and did a better job. My skin felt more amazing after using this product than the Refined Polish from Benefit. Though both products are truly great, when I go to repurchase, I will be buying the FAB Polish.

Are you currently exfoliating? If so, what is your favorite?

Also, I recently did a beauty haul video showing you beauty items I picked up. You can view that here if you'd like to see other skincare items I've been using!

    1. Thanks Elizabeth! I really wanted to try both, but didn't want to invest in both as beauty products are expensive! Luckily FAB was a travel size and the Benefit came in a kit that was very inexpensive. Now I know which one I will buy the full size of. :)

  6. The FAB exfoliator sounds great... I hate it when the granules are too big in exfoliators. I'll keep FAB in mind when I need to replace mine. Just followed your blog on bloglovin' so it will appear in my feed. Follow me back if you can. ^^
