Loving on Benefit Cosmetics Lately

Do you ever have those days where you really don't want to spend the time getting ready and want to do the bare minimum to look decent enough to go out in public, but not spend an hour getting ready? That was today for me! As today is Saturday, I felt it was not all that necessary to put on a lot of makeup. I was lucky enough to blow dry my hair and didn't bother to style it before leaving!

If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram, you may have seen this photo below. Oh, and please forgive the tacky quality of these photos...I took them on my iPad and uploaded them that way. I'm not really that fuzzy and washed out in person! :)

Today was one of those days that I wanted to go for a more "effortless" look. So I really didn't even put on that much makeup! In fact, I'm not wearing any foundation (or BB cream). Nope, this is my natural looking face for the most part. (Again, please forgive the poor quality of these photos!)

Fun Fact: I really have a terrible time with dark circles! So I got the Tarte Colored Clay CC Undereye Corrector that I am super excited about (video to follow soon on my YouTube channel, hint-hint!) Other than that, I simply touched up my brows (MAC eyeshadow in Charcoal Brown), did my eye makeup (Urban Decay Naked pallet and Benefit They're Real Mascara and Push-up Gel Liner), and  last but not least....threw on a little lipstick (MAC Bombshell).

I get so many compliments when I use Benefit's They're Real mascara. In fact, one day at the MAC counter in Nordstrom, the lady helping me stopped to ask me if those were my real lashes. I responded with "Yep, they're real!" Haha, I think I'm so funny.

I've really been enjoying the new They're Real Push-up Gel Liner too! I did a previous "Fab or Flop?" blog post on this when I first tried it-you can check that out here. My biggest complaint with it was that it was just too messy. I've since gotten over that because I really fell in love with the results. Now, I am still no expert in actually rocking a cat eye, but I like to go very natural anyway. The nib really lets you get close to your lash line and goes on so pigmented. I really do love this stuff!! Way to go Benefit, I love it!

I think I am really loving on Benefit Cosmetics lately and I would highly recommend their products. I truly do love them.
