These Are a Few of My Favorite Things...

I've realized that I have a lot of "favorite" things, so it was actually quite tough to narrow down to a "few" of them! Below are some of the beauty products I have been using religiously-because I really do love them. These are just my thoughts and opinions on these products and I would highly recommend them all.

Here Are My Faves---Left to Right:

Mac Paint Pot (Frozen Violet), Mac Technikohl Liner (Graphblack), Mac Sheertone Shimmer Blush (Dollymix), Mac Studio Moisture Fix, Benefit Erase Paste (No. 1 Fair), Chanel Rouge Coco Shine (74 Parfait), Mally Maximizing Mascara (Get the Last Lash), Mac Eye Pencil Crayon (Coffee)

I've been loving Mac Paint Pots lately. They are perfect for priming your eyes for shadows and come in tons of great colors. I was given the Frozen Violet Paint Pot as a part of a birthday present that came in a special package around Christmas time. You can actually still buy this color! This has been really fun because it gives you a great darker base to work with and it has a bit of shimmer. Perfect date night makeup for sure!

I have been using this eye liner for a few years now. This is a liner I don't think I could live without! I prefer to use this on my tight line, its actually a must for my daily routine. I feel like it helps make my eyelashes have the illusion of looking more full. If I am going for an evening look I will also use this on my waterline.

This is one of my more recent purchases and one of my favorites! I recently viewed a YouTube video (can't remember which one) and this was advertised in it. I doubted it quite a bit at first because it seemed so bright. After swirling my blush brush in it, giving a little tap and applying to the apples of my cheeks, this has by far been my favorite blush. I prefer to go light with it, but it is the perfect spring look for me. I think this light color really makes my skin look healthy and soft for spring.

I was recently traveling to Connecticut and NYC for work with my sister-in-law, who also works with me. We decided to hit the mall together and low and behold, there was a beautiful MAC store! Where I live, we only have MAC counters in our local Nordstrom. So I was ecstatic to actually be able to go into an actual store. While I was there, I had a gift card burning a hole in my pocket that my in-laws recently gave me for my birthday. I think I spent the whole gift card at MAC (as if that is hard to do!). This is one of my favorite purchases from this trip. This is by far the best moisturizer I have purchased. It makes my skin feel so good and I believe I have noticed it looking healthier since I decided to add this to my routine. I typically do 3 pumps- 2 in a row and one and the tip of my finger. I like to apply the pump at the tip of my finger all over my neck (so i don't forget) and the other two pumps I apply around my face. I highly recommend this moisturizer and its definitely a perk to have SPF 15! Protect you skin from the sun ladies!

I believe i am one of those lucky girls that inherited dark circles, it seems to hard to hide them! This has been a great addition to my collection! My mom actually gave this to me to try and I have always loved it! It comes with a little spoon-like scooper (or you can dab your finger in it). I just apply a small amount under my eyes and rub it in gently with my fingers. I believe this is helping with those dark circles for sure. Though I will admit, I am always on the hunt for the best product for this problem.

While shopping at Nordstrom one day, I decided to spoil myself and try a Chanel lipstick. I have never regretted this decision. 74 Parfait is by far, my favorite color. I think this has such a lovely tone to it and a gentle shimmer. I think it makes a gorgeous look for spring. I actually wear it throughout the year because I love it so much. It will almost always be found in my purse.

I am a huge Mally fan. She has so many awesome products! My mom ordered this mascara for me to try and I have to say, I love it! It has a dual end-which I thought was pretty neat. I use the smaller end to do my lower lashes because its a much smaller brush. Then I use the bigger end to coat my upper lashes, twice of course! Click the link above to see a better view of the dual-ended mascara.  I really do like Mally products and this mascara was a great purchase. I feel like I get great coverage with it as well as defines my lashes in the way like, which is to make them look full and separated (I am not a fan of chunky eyelashes).

This is actually one of the first eyeliners I purchased. I would always go for browns to go for softer, more natural look. I prefer to use this specifically on my waterline and smudge into my lower lash line. It definitely looks more soft and natural than black.

These are some great products and I'm definitely using them for my spring look. I tend to go pretty natural looking anyway, so these are perfect products for every day looks. If you have any recommendations of some great every day products that are your favorites, let me know!
